Goodbye, 2020. Hello, not so different 2021.
Do you wake up every morning, turn on the news and think ‘what the hell is going on in the world!’?
So do we. That’s why we created Find Others.
…. Woah, hold on a second, I thought you were called Glow?
Whoops, sorry! Let me backtrack a moment there. In typical startup fashion, we decided our first attempt at branding was a little half-baked. Some might say we’ve ‘pivoted’, others might say we are ‘being agile’. The truth is, we thought the name ‘Glow’ didn’t fully convey our ambitions for the platform and all that it can achieve. So we changed it. And after many creative sessions (ahem, friendly team arguments), we came to the collective decision to rename ourselves (drumroll please) …
We believe the name ‘Find Others’ represents the entire mission of the platform. To help people find and unite with like-minded individuals and collectively take action together.
So, back to where I was.
Along with the whole nation, we hoped that 2021 was the beginning of a turning point in our society. That this new year would hold a promise of a brighter future. But just as the clock struck midnight, it was evident that our problems would not be solved overnight. We go into 2021, knowing that the next few months will be extremely tough and the country has some dark days ahead of us. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
In our personal journey, we started this venture a little over a year ago, with a little bit of funding and a tremendous amount of ambition. As we enter the new year, we are pleased to say that you can now use Find Others to create powerful, free campaigns. Use these tools to rally supporters, influence decision-makers and shine a light on the injustice. Over the coming months, you will see new features being added to the platform, enabling you to take your campaigns further and build powerful group legal cases. When we come together, we are stronger.
Until next time, stay safe.
